I added this to my pond regimen, and my water has never been clearer. I have a fairly simple setup, with basic mechanical filtration that pumps to a waterfall, and an aerator. I don't have a bog, and only have light planting. I keep koi and shabunkin goldfish. My water parameters have been textbook perfect. I use Microbe Lift products for all of my fish (pond and aquarium), and this has been an excellent addition. Would definitely recommend.
